We are a community-based NGO trying to make a difference in the fields of rural development and environmental conservation.
We also offer accommodation for tourists and other guests with our idyllic eco-lodge.
If you book a stay with us, it will directly benefit our community and the villages around us. This way you can help us become independent from foreign funds.
You can either chose to use Rukararwe as a small stopover within your bigger travel plans or you can stay with us for several days or weeks and explore western Uganda with Rukararwe as your home-base. We offer tours to all the big tourist attractions in the area but also provide rare experiences that immerse you directly in our culture and community like visiting locals, going shopping in traditional markets, learning how to cook Ugandan food and a lot more.
