In a move to establish a sustainable herbal medicine supply chain, Rukararwe PWRD has launched the planting of over 10,000 different varieties of medicinal trees at Rukararwe. The trees include Prunus Africana (Omugoote), Omweiha (Ugandensis), and Kigeria (Omubooro.). This is part of the ongoing prostate cancer research project being implemented by Rukararwe. The project also aims at conserving the environment.
